We officially celebrated the start of construction work of our state-of-the-art school building at the Overstone Leys development with a breaking ground ceremony on Tuesday 11th February, marking a significant milestone in the delivery of our much-anticipated primary school.

With our permanent home scheduled for completion in April 2026, Overstone Park Primary School is planned to initially operate from dedicated Reception accommodation at our sister school, Wootton Park School, for the first two terms from September 2025 to March 2026, to provide a smooth learning experience for our first Reception cohort, before moving to the new site.

Overstone Park Primary has proved such a popular choice with families keen to secure a Reception place for this September and we are excited that construction work on our flagship building is now forging ahead and is already ahead of schedule.

With living walls, a large main hall and studio area, library, ICT, DT and Food Technology facilities plus wonderful outdoor facilities including a covered play area, an amphitheatre, a trim trail, a multi-use games area and a large hard-standing playground, it will certainly be worth the wait!
