Today marks a significant moment in the history of Overstone Park Primary School as offers are being made to our first-ever Reception pupils!

We will be sending out decision emails to all those who applied for one of our 30 Reception places for 2025 today and will also be posting hard copies next week. We have received more applications than places available for our Reception class. As offers made by Overstone Park Primary School are in addition to offers made through the usual local authority process, successful applicants will need to decide which offer they wish to accept.

We expect that some places offered will not be taken up, as is normal practice in the majority of schools. It is therefore likely that some of those on the waiting list will be offered places at Overstone Park Primary School later in the process. Any offers made after 16^th April will be in accordance with our oversubscription criteria as detailed in our Admissions Policy.

Details of how to join our waiting list will be emailed to unsuccessful applicants today. Late applicants can also join our waiting list by completing the application form on our website.

We look forward to meeting our founding families at our Welcome Event on Tuesday 22^nd April!

As parents/carers will have applied for schools other than Overstone Park Primary School, we foresee that some places may yet become available. Families on our waiting list are therefore also invited to our Welcome Event.
